Marketing with a beat – the beat that goes on…

Monika Genehr
WELCOME to MY REVIEW of the THE TRIBE called thatMLMbeat
- a MODERN DAY BARN RAISING COMMUNITY
FOR MODERN DAY MARKETERS
or – in techie speak
- a BLOG CONTENT SYNDICATION SITE
“where network marketers blog”.
When I took my first tour of thatMLMbeat community – I was immediately reminded of the Amish who know a thing or two about community and barn raising – and who put that knowledge to good use – faithfully and systematically.
- Barn raising is a social event.
- It’s about people getting together to GET THE JOB DONE – and to HAVE A GOOD FUN TIME.
- SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING is – you guessed it – a SOCIAL event.
thatMLMbeat is a SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING EVENT – marketing with the help of A FRIENDLY TRIBE.
thatMLMbeat is about
- BLOG SYNDICATION STRATEGIES
- ELIMINATING THE LONE RANGER MARKETING SYNDROME
- TURNING THE LONE RANGER MARKETER INTO A ROCK STAR MARKETER
- DOING IT — CRUSHING IT — BURNING UP THE QUARTER MILE
George Fourie - all around nice guy and the creator of thatMLMbeat – may not be Amish – but I see him as a barn raiser and blog syndicator par excellence.
MEET GEORGE FOURIE – “Just a guy drummer, surfer, proud dad and founder of thatMLMbeat.com”
MEET also STEPHANIE DENEKE -”What’s so cool about blog syndication tribes anyway?
Syndication. (n.d.) “2. An association of people or firms formed to engage in an enterprise or promote a common interest.”
“3. A loose affiliation of gangsters in control of organized criminal activities.”
- A BARN TO RAISE?
- A BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY TO PROMOTE?
- AN AFFILIATE LINK TO MARKET?
- A LONELY BLOG IN NEED OF CONTENT SYNDICATION?
Here, in my blog home and in thatMLMbeat community, you’ll find what works now in online marketing:
- A TRIBE of FRIENDS and PARTNERS – working together – having FUN
- INSPIRATION and ENCOURAGEMENT
- MARKETING EXPERTISE and MARKETING MUSCLE
to help you BUILD OR RE-BUILD YOUR BARN and possibly the LIFE OF YOUR SWEET DREAMS.
John Helmstetter’s sister speaks from the heart:
“You should do for your neighbor as you would like them to do for you.”
“If everybody were more helping, it would be a better place to live.”

The American Spirit – Community Rallies Around Neighbor in Need
Barn Raising:
- A SOCIAL event in which members of a community assist in the building of a new barn.
- A colonial American building practice in which as many as one hundred people from neighboring farms would volunteer to help a family construct the frame and rafters of their barn in a single day, using pre-cut lumber. The event had practical significance, in that every new farm bolstered the prosperity of the frontier, yet it also became a social celebration that strengthened families’ bonds with the community; women prepared food and men held competitions of speed and strength. Barn raisings were also held to rebuild barns after fires or other disasters. Occasionally still held in the Midwest and other rural areas, they are a cherished tradition among the Amish. - To do good, to work hard, to share and to have fun is a *Thriller* with a happy ending. Michael Jackson invariably pops into my mind.
- It’s all about you and me raising our barns together – for our family – our community – our world.
- Our children and grandchildren deserve to inherit a world where they also can have opportunities to raise their barns, do good, work hard, share and have tons of fun.
“Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” Thomas A. Edison
To me – an opportunity can have an enormous potential. Barn raisers get off the couch – put on their overalls – and systematically do all the work that needs to be done to make the opportunity come alive – to produce the desired results.
I’m so glad we had this time together…
And I hope to see you here again… to raise a barn or two… to have fun…
Love and laughter and success la *Mighty Mouse* to you, my friend!

OK… I can’t help myself… please bear with me for one more trip down memory lane…
Burning up the quarter mile:
MONIKA’S CONCLUSION
No matter how I look at it… the lone ranger marketer can benefit from acquiring and diligently working with a good support system.
I hope you saw here the value of a system… a system like… for example:
thatMLMbeat – the Amish community – The 7 Figure Networker – working your talent with all you are and with all you got – buddying up to ultimately burn up the quarter mile.
The marketing of yourself and your URL can lead to great, even amazing results… when you have a system and know how to use it.
So…
GET the SYSTEM you need… WORK IT… and… HAVE FUN WITH IT
What is a SYSTEM? Glad you asked…
WISHING YOU, MY FRIEND…
a SYSTEMATIC - FRUITFUL - FUN DAY

I love your support of George and ThatMLMbeat. George has created a fantastic community to allow people going in the same direction to connect and help each other.
You drafted a great post here and I love the connection to the song “The Beat Goes On”. I enjoyed watching the young Jackson 5 perform it so thanks for adding that perfect video for your theme.
We look forward to more of your posts!

Hi Monika,
Really fun analogy here with the barn raising. I’ve spent a little bit of time there at thatMLMbeat, but your description really made me want to check it out some more and delve into it more deeply. Syndicating and working together is definitely a good thing – I’ll be checking out more of your blog here and going over there to look some more too. Thanks very much for a very fun read! – Rob

Hmmm… Well this post for sure has a totally different beat to it. I like your style its certainly different from most post that I normally see. I can feel your spirit when you write your post. You seem like a go getter for sure and a team player. I never seen so many videos integrated into a post either that fits neatly with each little topic. I too signed up just recently for that MLMbeat just out of curiosity. Well I like I said I enjoyed this post and look forward to seeing more on your work. Thanks for sharing

Make sure you keep on writing these types of fine material, it is really beneficial. The internet is complete of extraordinary waste, as one is pleased should you find something else. Why are certainly not there additional? Tend not to leave me hanging!

George has a great MLM Beat going just like Dave and Dawn with TSA Mastery. I’m happy to be in both tribes and happy to see you in both also. George is truly a great guy who has helped me, the blogging newbie, with many a challenge I faced. I think you too will find yourself pleased with what he has already put out here and what he has planned for our future here.

Monika,
Very interesting post! We loved the analogy about the barn raising… because you’re right, we can’t do it alone. When a group of people pitch in, it’s amazing how quickly and efficiently things can get done.
Good perspective on the system aspect as well. When we have systems in place, it makes progress that much easier.
Thanks,

Hey Monika,
Thanks for this great post. I love the barn raising analogy. It is so true that in network marketing that we work together as a team and support each other. It is the only industry and profession that makes us work in the ways that will provide true success for ourselves and others. We can all do it together.
Thanks again.
Make it a great day!
God Bless,

@Paul Klaszus: You’re right, it is real hard work. It sure is for me. We’re in friendly competition and at the same time pulling in the same direction towards combined success in our individual endeavors. My lone ranger network marketing days are over and everything I received in knowledge and support from my tribe, I want to return “doppelt und dreifach” (more abundantly). My barn is taking shape magnificently. I couldn’t do it without people like you and the others who have commented before you. Thank you!

It’s cool, because in contrast, people of an employee or self-employed mentality would think that what we’re doing isn’t real work… but going out and working together is real work.. and sometimes real hard work! But, by doing it together, we make the work lighter.. and by making the work lighter, we can ‘Raise a Bigger Barn’!
Thanks for sharing this insight, Monika!

This is a great quote, so glad you included it. “Opportunity is missed by most because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work”. Thomas Alva Edison.

I absolutely love this post. The neighbors and friends helping out with a good old-fashioned barn raising is a perfect analogy of walking this journey together with others. It is empowering and energizing to journey together and we can create a heck of a lot more together than we could possibly dream by ourselves.
Thanks so very much for sharing!

Hi Monika, love this post. The community concept is one that helps people grow and helping others surely is quite satisfying and has its own reward.
